That crane garbage mini strecher is excellent. U need to reinforce ur stick wont have any problems. As for kicking carpet in ur not really hitting with ur knee u are hitting the meat part above ur knee. Its so funny the diff tools used from California to Massachusetts.

So question how did u get a good stretch in that hallway. U didnt stretch and nail each side of the seam. Un should of stretched one side nailed scross the rug about 8 inches from ur seam and repeat the other side. So after u do ur seam and its cool u release the nails and it will keep its stretch.

Ya ill stick to the old school roberts iron that heats up. Also for repairs just use same iron.

The big difference here is simply heat activated carpet tape and the tool to heat it. Thanks for the demonstration to show the quality of heat activated tape versus the cheap double sided tape.

It takes longer for the kool glide to cool than normal.

I've yet to see a poly carpet that doesn't look absolutely awful 2 years after it was fitted!🤦

I just finished putting carpet in my basement. I used…. wait for it.. an Olfa knife with the snap blades. Carpet came out perfect with half the effort of that thing. Just saying.
